About EXEMPLAR

EXEMPLAR Center for Engineering Training & Career Development provides engineering training and career-development programs from our centre in Khartoum, Sudan (South Khartoum, Catrina Street, West of Elqurashi Park). Program titles, outlines, schedules, seats, and fees may change. For each enrollment, the details confirmed by our team (or shown at the time of confirmed registration) prevail.

Eligibility

You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into these Terms. Our online services are intended for adult professional trainees and organisational contacts. If you register on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

Registration and confirmation

Submitting a registration form requests a place on a program; it does not by itself guarantee a seat. Enrollment is confirmed only after our team reviews availability and any required payment, documents, or follow-up.

We may contact you by email, phone, or WhatsApp using the details you provided. We may decline, postpone, or cancel an enrollment when seats are unavailable, information is inaccurate, payment is incomplete, or operational reasons require it. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you.

Accounts and Google sign-in

Trainee accounts are for people who have registered (or are otherwise authorised) with EXEMPLAR. You must keep login credentials confidential and notify us of suspected unauthorised use.

Google sign-in is available only for emails linked to an existing registration/account relationship. Misuse of accounts, shared logins, or attempts to access another person’s data are prohibited.

Fees, payments, and certificates

Fees, accepted payment methods, due dates, and certificate eligibility follow the program rules communicated at enrollment or by our finance team.

Payment status recorded in our systems (unpaid, partial, paid, refunded) is for operational tracking. Uploaded receipts may be reviewed before confirmation. Incomplete payment or unmet attendance/completion requirements may delay or prevent certification.

Refunds, transfers between programs, or deferrals—if available—are handled case by case according to the policy communicated for that program. Contact us before the program start date whenever possible.

Corporate inquiries

Corporate/B2B inquiry forms are requests for information or proposals, not binding contracts. Any training agreement with an organisation will be confirmed separately in writing (including email) between EXEMPLAR and the organisation.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the website or services, including by:

• Submitting false, misleading, or someone else’s information without authority
• Attempting unauthorised access, probing, scraping at abusive rates, or interfering with security or availability
• Uploading malware or unlawful content
• Harassing staff or other users, or using the site for unlawful purposes

Intellectual property

The EXEMPLAR name, logo, website design, course descriptions, and training materials (whether online or in class) are owned by EXEMPLAR or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially reuse them without prior written permission, except for personal use of materials expressly provided to you as a registered trainee under program rules.

Third-party services

The site relies on third-party infrastructure (for example hosting, authentication, and email). Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for outages or acts of providers beyond our reasonable control, though we will take reasonable steps to restore service.

Disclaimers

The website and online tools are provided on an “as available” basis. Training outcomes depend on attendance, effort, and program requirements. Website content is informational and may not reflect the latest classroom schedule until confirmed by our team.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EXEMPLAR is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the website or training services. Our aggregate liability related to a specific enrollment is limited to the fees you paid to EXEMPLAR for that enrollment, except where liability cannot be limited under Sudanese law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Sudan. Courts in Khartoum shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the website, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the online services and contact us regarding any active enrollment.
